Visitor Center. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations across all assigned facilities. The Operational Lead provides on-site leadership, assists with event logistics, and helps maintain high standards of service and facility care. This position oversees on-site operations during events, ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and ready for public use. The Operational Lead directs part-time and temporary staff, coordinates event setups and teardowns, and serves as the primary contact for customers, vendors, and department staff. The role requires strong communication skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to address operational issues as they arise. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable leading others in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Evening, weekend, and event-based hours are required, along with a commitment to providing a positive experience for all visitors and staff.
