The City of Chandler Municipal Airport is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an Airport Maintenance Senior Technician - CDL. This position is scheduled to work Wednesday through Saturday, from 5:00am to 3:30pm.

Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Because it is a City-run airport, Chandler Municipal is open for public use 24 hours a day, seven days a week. CHD operates as a general aviation airport, which means it is primarily used for corporate and self-piloted business flights, sport/hobby aviation, flight training, public safety, and medical service flights.

Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to perform skilled preventative maintenance and repair of the City's airport operational areas and equipment.

The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment DOT drug and alcohol test and a driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. - A High School Diploma or GED; and
- 3 years of experience in grounds and facilities maintenance and operations; and
- A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; and
- A Commercial Driver's License Class B with tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire or promotion; and
- Maricopa County Dust Control Certification within 6 months of hire or promotion; and
- Underground Storage Tank Class A, B and C Operator Certification within 6 months of hire or promotion; and
- 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification within 6 months of hire or promotion; and
- An Office of Pest Management License within 6 months of hire or promotion; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
