We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair various facility systems using schematics, electrical diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate building functions and troubleshoot control systems efficiently.
- Perform welding, residential painting, and other hands-on repairs to maintain the hotel’s aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventory management through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during projects or repairs, ensuring safety standards and quality control are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to hotel operations or guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiar with schematics, electrical equipment repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and residential painting.
- Hands-on skills in welding and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems.
- Excellent understanding of MRO processes and CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills to manage maintenance teams or projects effectively.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; strong customer service orientation is a plus.
