Duties

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and structural elements.
• Assist with residential painting projects, minor carpentry repairs, and cosmetic updates to maintain the hotel's aesthetic appeal.
• Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems to ensure proper functioning of building equipment.
• Conduct welding and mechanical repairs as needed to address equipment malfunctions or structural issues.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
• Manage maintenance requests through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), prioritizing tasks for timely completion.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed to standard.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and ensure all repairs meet safety regulations.
• Oversee cleaning and upkeep of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and service corridors.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations while providing excellent customer service to guests and staff.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting.
• Proficiency in electrical work, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), manufacturing processes, or industrial automation is a plus.
• Skilled in welding, residential painting, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to read technical schematics and manuals accurately for effective troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork coordination.
• Supervising experience or leadership skills to oversee maintenance projects or junior staff effectively.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
• Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
