Security Officer

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide flexible coverage at an active commercial construction site in Aurora, Colorado. This position supports site security operations through regular inspections, access oversight, incident reporting, and visible deterrence efforts.

This opportunity is well-suited for individuals who can adapt to changing schedules, remain attentive in dynamic environments, and work independently while following established security procedures.

Position Information

• Location: Aurora, CO 80019
• Employment Status: Full-Time

• Schedule: Multi-Shift
• Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License required
• Ability to work a multi-shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Site Protection & Patrol

• Conduct routine foot patrols throughout construction areas and surrounding property
• Inspect perimeter fencing, gates, access points, and material storage locations
• Monitor construction equipment and restricted sections of the site
• Maintain awareness of ongoing activity and identify potential security concerns
• Help deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized access
  
  

Access Monitoring

• Observe and monitor individuals entering and exiting designated areas
• Verify authorization when access procedures are in place
• Report suspicious behavior or policy violations to appropriate personnel
• Assist with maintaining a secure and orderly work environment
  
  

Incident Management

• Respond to security-related situations according to site procedures
• Take appropriate action when safety concerns or disturbances arise
• Notify supervisors of incidents requiring additional attention
• Remain calm and professional while handling unexpected situations
  
  

Reporting & Documentation

• Complete activity reports and patrol logs accurately
• Submit required security status updates every 30 minutes
• Document incidents, observations, and security concerns in a clear and timely manner
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with company standards
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prepare clear and detailed reports
• Strong observation and situational awareness abilities
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
  

Preferred

• Previous experience in security, patrol services, construction site monitoring, or related work
• Experience working in commercial, industrial, or construction environments
• Familiarity with incident documentation and activity reporting
• Ability to recognize and communicate safety hazards effectively
