What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant position at Cirilli Law Offices, S.C.?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. Bookkeeping experience is required for this position, which is in office Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:00 (37.5 hours week). Wage based on experience. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize jobs, and manage time efficiently, are needed for this employment opportunity. Candidate must have the ability to provide administrative support to various staff members to ensure the smooth running of our office.
Excellent skills in Bookkeeping, Payroll, Microsoft Office Suite, and Data Entry are needed. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness in all tasks are essential. A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Office Management or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Experience managing staff is a plus. Confidentiality is essential.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Assist with tax preparation and filing as required.
- Monitor cost and fee entries to ensure bi-monthly statements are accurate and sent out timely.
