Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Ensure a safe environment by preventing falls, managing hazards, and adhering to safety protocols.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client interactions and observations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home care or related settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs with flexibility.
- Certification in CPR or first aid is advantageous; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for travel between client homes.
