Duties
- Provide attentive overnight supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the night.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Support residents with meal preparation, hydration, and light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use of resident’s
equipment for mobility assistance. - Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction during overnight hours.
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
- Experience with care plans development and implementation ensures personalized resident support.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties is essential.
