As a Dishwasher at Fellowship Square, you will be responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in the kitchen. You will work as part of a team to ensure the kitchen remains organized and compliant with health and safety standards, contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
- Sort and store clean dishes and utensils in appropriate areas.
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Dispose of trash and waste according to facility protocols.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work as needed.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Previous experience in a dishwasher or kitchen helper role is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
- Flexible schedule required, may include holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must understand, speak, read and write fluent English.
- Ability to follow regulations for safe handling of food and service items.
- Ability to use equipment and materials carefully, in a safe manner, and follow correct operation and cleaning procedures.
