We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team at our assisted living facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
As a Certified Caregiver, you will also be responsible for administering medications, following care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote the best possible outcomes for each resident. - Administer medications to residents according to their care plans.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Follow personalized care plans to meet each resident’s needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Ensure safety by maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment.
- Document care provided and any changes in resident condition.
- Assist with meals and help residents with eating when needed.
- Respond to emergencies quickly and appropriately.
- Collaborate with the care team to provide the best possible care.
- Communicate with families about residents' care and well-being.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification or MedTech certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Negative TB Test (must be submitted before starting).
- Knowledge of medication administration and documentation.
- Ability to assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
- Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to senior care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in assisted living or healthcare is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and transfer residents following safety protocols.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with empathy.
