Role’s Mission:
The Kids Associate Minister partners with the Kids Minister to be a Recruiter, Shepherd, Implementer, and Collaborator of the Next Generation Nursery program.

As Recruiter, you have a passion for kids hearing the gospel, coming to know Christ as their Savior, and becoming resilient disciples of Jesus and enthusiastically recruit others to join in the mission of Kids Ministry. You demonstrate this by meeting people and connecting their gifts to serving opportunities in Kids Ministry.

As Shepherd, you know your volunteers and parents and walk closely with them. Your heart as a shepherd is displayed in prioritizing time to be with them and developing meaningful relationships.

As Implementer, you are committed to excellence and will carry out your roles and responsibilities by equipping volunteers, providing resources, and ensuring that projects and tasks are completed.

As Collaborator, you work alongside the Fort Worth Kids Minister on projects and tasks to provide ideas, perspective, and feedback.
Role’s Relationship:
The Kids Associate Minister reports directly to the Kid’s Minister – Fort Worth Campus.
Role’s Details: Part-time | Hourly | Non-exempt | 20 hours per week
Qualifications:Role’s Requirements:
Character-
- Must be a maturing believer who is obviously, consistently and increasingly manifesting the fruit of the Spirit in his daily walk with Christ (Galatians 5:22-23) as well as among others
- Must be living an “above reproach” lifestyle as outlined in the Christ Chapel Employee Handbook
- Must be a faithful steward of work and time, with awareness that Christ Chapel employees are paid from the tithes and offerings of others
Calling-
- Must be committed to and supportive of the authority of the Elders, the pastoral staff, and the philosophy and direction of the church both in public and in private
- Must be able to articulate a specific and clear calling to ministry with children.
Competency-
- If a believer receives only one gift (1 Pet 4:10), then the ideal candidate has the spiritual gift of administration. (Rom 12; 1 Cor 12; Eph 4; 1 Pet 4)
Chemistry-
- Must be dependable, humble and approachable
- Must work well within a team environment
- Must have an optimistic, positive, and cheerful demeanor.
- Must be able to receive direction and correction - a joy to supervise

Role’s Preferences:
The ideal candidate would:
- Be actively involved in Christ Chapel and have a positive track record over at least a three-year period in Nursery ministry.
- Have a reputation of being relatable with a wide variety of people and personalities, both adults and children.
