General Purpose of Job
The primary objective of this role is to foster the success and development of the Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) program, as well as the staff and clients involved. PRS Supervisors will champion the Peer Recovery Specialist role and its services both within the organization and in the broader community. They will encourage the professional and personal growth of Peer Specialists while adhering to established human resource standards and will provide guidance and support for Peer Recovery Specialists in their daily responsibilities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Children’s Network of Hillsborough’s standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is an in-office based position that averages 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary outside of these standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet operational demands. All hours worked will be compensated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and agency policies, including applicable overtime and other compensation requirements.
Travel
Travel in and outside of Circuit 13 may be required.
Training
All employees are required to complete fifteen (15) hours of training annually, which may be completed online or in a classroom setting. Employees who hold a credential or license relevant to their position must ensure that all training and continuing education requirements are met to maintain their credential or licensure.

This position provides direct oversight of five peer recovery specialists.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assign referrals received for the Peer Recovery program to individual Peer Recovery Specialists within their designated circuit.
- Coordinate the participation of specific Peer Recovery Specialists in judicial appointments, community events, and network staffing meetings where their presence is required.
- Track measurable data to assess the engagement of Peer Recovery Specialists with their assigned clients.
- Provide staff with the resources, guidance, and knowledge needed to effectively engage with their assigned clients.
- Offer staff strength-based feedback, promote workplace wellness, and remain accessible to support the successful completion of their job responsibilities.
- Assist all onboarded staff in obtaining the CRPS Certification from the Florida Certification Board, as required by their role.
- Ensure all PRS staff deliver services that align with the Code of Ethics agreed upon during the CRPS Certification process.
- Maintain a personal caseload while fulfilling all supervisory responsibilities.
