Summary

This job is responsible for providing sales assistance to customers of the Gift Shop and for assisting in the daily operations of the Gift Shop.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases by directing them to or locating merchandise and answering their questions; and collect payment for purchases by operating the cash register and charge card terminal.
• Display new merchandise received; maintain order and cleanliness of shelves according to department standards.
• Affix prices to incoming merchandise; change prices as directed.
• Ability to meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description is an essential function of the job.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
