Summary
This job is responsible for proper food handling, set up and presentation; assisting in food preparation for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Operates and routinely cleans/sanitizes catering equipment according to HAACP standards. Set-up, breakdown and deliver hot/cold food for catering events at scheduled times
- Assembles foods for catering events according to menu/customer specifications. Prepares/assembles catering menu items according to production sheets for catering
- Completes required documentation for quality improvement. Load and drive department vehicles to catering events
- Ability to maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job
- Excellent customer service skills is essential
- At least 1 year 1-2 years experience in banquets/catering Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent Preferred
- Obtain Food Handlers Certification and maintain current status thereafter Required
