The Foundation
With Texas already home to approximately one-tenth of all children in the nation, and with the increasing complexities and issues they face, it is imperative that Children's HealthSM accommodate growing patient volumes while enhancing the care and programs provided.
Established in 1985 as the fundraising arm for Children’s HealthSM, Children’s Medical Center Foundation (the Foundation) pursues and secures philanthropic contributions through partnerships with individual donors, organizations, and corporations to fund special programs and projects that improve the overall healthcare experience and research that aims to make life better for all children.
Support for Children’s Health has been strong amidst a transformative $5 billion pediatric campus initiative, which broke ground in October 2024. As of May 2025, the project has secured three landmark nine-figure gifts, including a record-setting commitment from the Moody Foundation, along with earlier $100 million gifts in 2024. Individual giving has been an essential pillar of this success, with the team of eight Development Officers expected to close between $50 million and $60 million annually.
