About the Opportunity
Cherry Bekaert is partnering with a well-established, national organization to add a Corporate Accountant to their team. This is a high-impact role supporting a complex, multi-entity environment with exposure to development, operating, and corporate-level accounting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain and manage general ledger activity across multiple entities
- Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and internal management reporting
- Support entity-level analysis across development and operating structures
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
- Assist with schedules supporting tax and compliance reporting
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong grasp of core accounting fundamentals and GAAP
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Exposure to multi-entity or intercompany environments strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Workday, Yardi, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
