Grade: 58

Salary: $31,399 per year

This position will be required to perform Medical Laboratory Assistant duties with great care and skill. Medical laboratory assistant functions will include routine laboratory processing, phlebotomy and technical work in performing routine standardized tests. The person will need to be reliable and self-motivated.

When there are no patients requiring lab work, other duties will be assigned to this person such as filing, stocking and other task assigned by the Laboratory Manager.

Minimum Training and Experience:

Graduation from high school and one year of laboratory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will also demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for an office assistant. Good computer application and customer service skills are essential for this position.
