Location: Saddle Brook, NJ

About Us
Chefler Foods is a wholesale food service manufacturer and distributor, and our retail brand Mike's Amazing is the consumer face of the operation. You've probably seen us at a sports arena, in a TV commercial, at a music festival, or on a hot dog — we get around. We're a growing company that moves fast, takes pride in our work, and genuinely cares about taking care of our customers. We're not corporate (I'm wearing a t-shirt while writing this) — but we are serious about doing the job well and providing the best end-to-end customer experience.
The Role
We're hiring an entry-level Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is the kind of role where no two days look exactly the same — you'll be entering orders, talking to customers, helping other departments when they need a hand, and keeping things moving in a fast-paced environment.
We're a growing business, which means the pace is quick and priorities can shift. This role is perfect for someone who's mastered the art of multitasking, has a sharp eye for detail, and takes pride in getting things right the first time. If you're looking for a place to take on more over time and build a career, you'll find it here.
What You'll Do
- Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently in our internal system
- Answer incoming calls professionally
- Communicate clearly with customers by phone and email
- Jump in to help other departments when they're slammed
- Handle light Excel work and basic admin tasks
- Juggle competing priorities without losing the plot
- Be a strong team player
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree or current enrollment in night/evening college is a plus
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance (this one's non-negotiable)
- Reliable transportation to and from our facility
- Professional phone and email skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized when things get busy
- Composed under pressure
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Benefits
The responsible adult stuff is all here — medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We're also a place where you can genuinely grow within the company — we'd rather promote from within than hire from outside.
The Ideal Candidate
You're proactive, adaptable, and composed under pressure. You take feedback well, you stay focused when things get busy, and you'd rather solve a problem before it becomes one. You're looking for a role where you can grow, take on more, and build a career.
