What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kreamery Cashier / Barista position at Chef Tanya's Kitchen?
Greetings candidates! Chef Tanya's Kitchen is a growing vegan company which is officially adding a Soft Serve Dessert and Espresso store to our Palm Desert location!! We need some skilled and enthusiastic Confectioners & Baristas to add to our team! Barista experience is preferred but not required. Here is what we are looking for:
✔ Guests

✔ Desserts & Espresso
- *The ability to learn, love, and create our menu within the training period. *Understand our recipes so you can guide guests through the menu who may have allergies or ingredients they are trying to avoid.
✔ Appearance
- Follow all our uniform guidelines and maintain a well-groomed appearance including posture. Good energy flow comes from maintaining a straight spine and uncrossed arms.
✔ Attendance
- Punctual and flexible in maintaining our hours.
✔ Physical Safety & Ability

*Perform all tasks effectively and safely in an environment where there is constant motion. *Be capable of making quick and appropriate decisions. *Be able to perform duties that require bending, reaching, lifting, and transporting up to 35 lb containers and trash cans. *This position requires standing or moving for up to 6 hours
✔ Cleanliness
- Ability to adhere to the Opening Procedures, Closing Procedures, and any other checklist or directions that keeps the overall store sanitary and organized.
✔ Storefront Appearance
- Keep the appearance of the store and merchandise clean, organized, and stocked. Check windows, doors, sidewalk (swept & washed), trash outside is picked up, and outdoor chairs, counters, and guest terminals free from fingerprints & marks.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00/hour.
