Barista Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee , tea, drinks, beverages, and light food items following established recipes and safety standards.
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea bar area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and notifying management of low stock levels.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred; a passion for coffee is a plus!
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to efficiently process transactions.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that engages guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
