We are currently seeking a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to support the daily financial and administrative operations of our Accounting Department. Position Overview:The Payroll & Accounting Specialist plays a key role in the accurate processing of payroll, general cashiering functions, and financial support for our resort’s Club Member and Owner accounts. This individual works closely with department managers and our accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial operations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities Include:Payroll Processing & Reporting
Monitor time clock punches and work with managers to resolve errors.
Prepare and distribute daily labor and payroll reports.
Process bi-weekly payroll, PTO accruals, and payroll discrepancies.
Assist with payroll-related journal entries and month-end reporting.
Cash Handling & General Cashiering
Collect, verify, reconcile, and deposit daily cash from resort outlets.
Audit house banks, maintain variance logs, and issue petty cash refunds.
Ensure compliance with cash control procedures and maintain detailed records.
Club Member & Owner Accounts
Prepare and distribute monthly statements.
Respond to inquiries from Owners and Club Members with professionalism and accuracy.
Support month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
General Accounting Support
Participate in audits by maintaining organized and accurate financial records.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Controller.
Prior hotel or resort experience in payroll and accounting preferred.
Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems.
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
Excellent attention to detail, discretion, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
