Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our finance team at a regional manufacturing and distribution company. This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, supporting inventory processes, and ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping. The Accounting Specialist plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer invoices for stock and non-stock items.
- Process vendor invoices and manage claimbacks/rebates.
- Receive and record materials in the accounting system.
- Coordinate inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory levels.
- Perform some inventory order entry as needed.
- Manage office supply orders and distribute order acknowledgements.
- Maintain accurate records and support other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Special Requirements:
- Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
