As a Staff Accountant, you will:
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash activity
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Complete account reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity
- Support the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Maintain financial records within Great Plains
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
The ideal Staff Accountant will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1 year of accounting experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations preferred
- Solid understanding of debits and credits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
