Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full lifecycle grants management including budgeting, tracking, reporting, and compliance
- Serve as the Workday & Workday Grants Module expert, supporting configuration, workflow design, and optimization
- Ensure accurate invoicing, drawdowns, revenue recognition, and closeout of grant funding
- Develop and enhance internal policies, controls, and workflows related to grants
- Partner with program, development/fundraising, and finance leadership to ensure compliance with grantor requirements
- Prepare grant-related schedules for audits and regulatory reporting
- Train internal stakeholders on Workday and grants processes
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting
- Required: Workday Workday Grants Module experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years of grant accounting experience, ideally for nonprofit or education-based organizations
- Strong knowledge of federal/state grant compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to interpret grant provisions, financial guidelines, and funding regulations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
