Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to play a key role in our accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This individual will support month-end close, cost accounting functions, inventory analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and standard cost updates
- Partner with operations to review variances, production metrics, and cost drivers
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
