A well established organization (75 years in business) is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. This role offers exposure to cost accounting, inventory management, and operational analysis within a dynamic production environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close and financial reporting under GAAP
- Perform inventory reconciliations, standard cost updates, and variance analysis
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support external audits and internal control documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production and operations teams
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing experience required
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
