What You’ll Be Doing
- Handle core general ledger responsibilities including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet account analysis
- Support cash management processes, including funding requests, urgent payments, and wire transfers as needed
- Review and validate financial transactions for accuracy, compliance, and proper accounting treatment
- Analyze financial data and variances to support reporting and decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support accounting operations, reporting, and process improvements
- Assist with technical accounting questions, research, and application of US GAAP as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2 years of accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and double-entry principles
- Exposure to technical accounting concepts and US GAAP preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Subtotals)
- Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems preferred
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- CPA license and public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Structured accounting environment with a focus on accuracy and compliance
