- Lead preparation, drafting, and review of the company’s quarterly and annual SEC filings in partnership with the external reporting team
- Partner with segment and business unit teams to resolve technical accounting matters and ensure proper application of U.S. GAAP
- Review financial statement footnote disclosures, tie‑outs, and supporting documentation
- Oversee segment‑level financial statement analysis to identify unusual trends and ensure alignment with GAAP and corporate policies
- Support M&A transactions including opening balance sheet reviews, purchase accounting, valuation coordination, and integration activities
- Conduct and document annual goodwill, reporting unit, and segment‑level impairment assessments
- Coordinate quarterly “roundtable” communication with segment finance, treasury, tax, and internal audit
- Drive implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and disclosures
- Own and strengthen disclosure controls and support internal control assessments
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline the quarterly reporting process, enhance automation, and improve reporting cycle times
- Monitor evolving SEC and financial reporting trends; perform benchmarking analyses to ensure transparent, high‑quality reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Accounting or MBA strongly preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Large public accounting or large U.S. public company experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules with hands‑on reporting experience
- High‑energy, curious, and collaborative professional with a continuous improvement mindset
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Workiva, Oracle ERP, Hyperion, or OneStream a plus
- Manufacturing industry experience
