Core's SEC Reporting Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of Core's SEC reporting. You will be responsible for leading the preparation of SEC filings for a non-traded REIT, ensuring accurate and complete disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements, maintaining and enhancing disclosure controls and processes in compliance with Core's SOX framework and driving close-to-report transformation initiatives to support operational efficiency and business growth. This role will serve as the operational lead across disclosure presentation, cross-functional coordination and audit coordination. In addition to supporting the non-traded REIT, the SEC Reporting Manager will also provide technical accounting memos and conclusions to our non-SEC entities through research and analysis.

Pay Range
USD $135,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr.

What You Will Do
SEC Reporting
- Manage the preparation, review and timely filing of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and related SEC submissions in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify and simplify technical rules and regulations to ensure accurate and complete data are provided to support key disclosures
- Draft and refine Management's Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) in collaboration with senior leadership, general counsel and accounting/finance teams
- Lead the quarterly close-to-filing reporting workflow, including coordination of internal controls
- Oversee XBRL/iXBRL tagging and reporting accuracy
- Continuously improve reporting processes, automation, and governance controls
- Maintain and update reporting policies, ensuring appropriate interpretation, communication and implementation of standards and disclosure requirements
- Monitor and provide analysis on changing or new FASB or SEC disclosure rules that may impact future financial reporting and share with accounting/finance leadership teams
- Partner with Accounting teams on ad-hoc projects to develop comprehensive impact assessments related to accounting policies, processes and controls for both public and non-public reporting entities
- Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and support audit activities, including coordination of quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Interface directly with external auditors on review and filing comments
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA is preferred
- 6-9 years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting
- Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K experience is essential)
- A deep, working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC disclosure regulations
- Strong technical writing capabilities (MD&A drafting experience preferred)
- Big 4 public accounting

- Nonlisted REITs that establish a NAV or strike a periodic share price.
- Workflows with an external fund administrator and transfer agent
