This role will focus primarily on recruiting top talent for project management and field positions while supporting broader HR initiatives such as onboarding/offboarding, employee engagement, and social media presence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting efforts for project managers, assistant PMs, superintendents, and interns.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate the hiring process with leadership.
- Represent the company at career fairs, trade shows, and school recruiting events (approx. 10% travel).
- Develop and maintain a social media presence to promote company culture and attract talent.
- Organize employee engagement activities (lunches, events, recognition programs).
- Assist with onboarding and, over time, support payroll and HR functions.
- Serve as a positive, professional face of the organization in all recruiting and HR interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
- Experience in recruiting or HR strongly preferred; construction industry experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment.
- Ability to handle candid conversations and maintain professionalism.
- Willingness to learn social media and marketing basics.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
- Bonus: Eligible for annual bonus based on company profitability (up to 15%).
