Property Manager | Commercial Real Estate

Salary: $70,000–$90,000

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Portfolio Operations & Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for a commercial real estate portfolio (office, MOB, retail, or mixed-use).
  • Maintain building systems, service contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead onsite teams including assistant property managers, building engineers, and administrative staff.

Financial Management

  • Develop, manage, and forecast annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Ensure accurate rent collection, expense control, CAM billing, and annual CAM reconciliations.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly financial reporting to ownership and senior leadership.

Tenant & Client Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and ownership representatives.
  • Drive tenant satisfaction through responsive service, retention strategies, and proactive communication.
  • Partner with leasing teams on renewals, expansions, tenant improvements, and market positioning.

Capital Projects & Construction

  • Manage capital expenditures, tenant improvement projects, construction bids, and project closeout processes.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and ownership to ensure quality delivery and adherence to timelines.

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational data to recommend process improvements and portfolio strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and building regulations.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to property staff across the portfolio.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of commercial property management experience (retail strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High school diploma required; additional education or certifications a plus
