What You’ll Be Doing
- Portfolio Operations & Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations for a commercial real estate portfolio (office, MOB, retail, or mixed-use).
- Maintain building systems, service contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead onsite teams including assistant property managers, building engineers, and administrative staff.
Financial Management
- Develop, manage, and forecast annual operating and capital budgets.
- Ensure accurate rent collection, expense control, CAM billing, and annual CAM reconciliations.
- Provide monthly/quarterly financial reporting to ownership and senior leadership.
Tenant & Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and ownership representatives.
- Drive tenant satisfaction through responsive service, retention strategies, and proactive communication.
- Partner with leasing teams on renewals, expansions, tenant improvements, and market positioning.
Capital Projects & Construction
- Manage capital expenditures, tenant improvement projects, construction bids, and project closeout processes.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and ownership to ensure quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
- Analyze operational data to recommend process improvements and portfolio strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and building regulations.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to property staff across the portfolio.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of commercial property management experience (retail strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High school diploma required; additional education or certifications a plus
