About The Role
The Plant Controller oversees all financial operations for the manufacturing facility. This role supports budgeting, reporting, cost control, inventory accuracy, and compliance. You’ll work closely with plant leadership to provide clear financial insights that improve operations and profitability.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and key performance metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management activities
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, and controls to improve accuracy and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls
- Develop and maintain product costing models and support CAPEX planning
- Provide financial insights that guide decision‑making and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and cross‑functional plant teams
- Assist with ad hoc analysis, modeling, and financial reporting
- Support audits and help maintain a controlled, compliant environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 4–6 years of financial management experience in manufacturing
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel
- Background in co‑manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Strong financial analysis and variance reporting abilities
- Expertise in cost accounting and manufacturing cost allocation
- Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance teams
- Experience managing inventory accuracy and improving processes
- Ability to collaborate across departments and support plant leadership
- CPA preferred
