Key Responsibilities For Payroll Specialist
- Process accurate weekly payroll for 60 employees across multiple states.
- Prepare and submit Certified Payroll Reports.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and maintain organized records.
- Support audits, manage 401(k) and vacation tracking.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on onboarding and administrative tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation required.
- 3 years of payroll experience (construction or public sector preferred).
- Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP, Ceridian, Workday) and advanced Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, compliance knowledge, and communication skills.
