About The Opportunity For a Payroll Manager

- This is a strategic payroll leadership role focused on oversight — not daily payroll processing.
- Partner closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll tax compliance, garnishment accuracy, and regulatory alignment.
- Oversee payroll tax filings, compliance, and reporting to ensure federal, state, and local accuracy.
- Review and audit garnishments, levies, and deductions to ensure proper calculation and remittance.
- Monitor payroll processes, controls, and system accuracy; identify and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, multi-state payroll regulations, and internal policies.
- Partner with HR and Finance on audits, reporting, and year-end activities (W-2s, tax reconciliations, etc.).
- Serve as the subject matter expert for payroll compliance and regulatory updates.
- 5 years of progressive payroll experience, including payroll tax and garnishment oversight.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Experience in a supervisory or payroll oversight capacity.
- ERP/payroll system experience and strong Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $65,000 - $78,000
