What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Senior Accountant Consultant position at CFS?
Part‑Time Senior Accountant Consultant
Flexible Schedule
If you’re a seasoned accountant who loves stepping into fast‑moving environments, fixing what’s broken, and building what doesn’t exist yet — this role is designed for you.
We’re a growing startup at a pivotal stage, and we’re looking for a part‑time Senior Accountant who thrives in a consulting-style engagement: autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to make a visible impact without being tied to a full-time seat.
You won’t just “keep the books.” You’ll architect the accounting function, elevate financial operations, and influence how the business scales — all while maintaining control over your schedule.
This is the ideal role for a consultant who enjoys variety, independence, and meaningful ownership.
What You’ll Own & Lead
Month-End Close Leadership
What You Bring
You’re someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, diagnosing problems, and building better systems. You like bringing clarity to ambiguity and balancing hands-on execution with strategic thinking. If you want a consulting-style role where your expertise is valued and your impact is visible, you’ll feel right at home.
If you want, I can also create a shorter, punchier version for job boards or a more polished version for a careers page.
