Junior Property Accountant

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 Bonus Potential (targeting mid-$70s depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Support general ledger accounting and assist with journal entries and month-end close
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with financial reporting and portfolio-level accounting tasks
• Code and process invoices while supporting automated invoice workflows
• Maintain accurate accounting records and provide documentation support for audits and internal reporting
• Gain exposure across property accounting functions, including portfolio financials, reconciliations, and invoice processing, providing well-rounded accounting experience.
• Support various accounting functions across the portfolio depending on team needs, offering strong learning and growth opportunities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Internship experience (preferably around one year) or 1 year of accounting experience
• Full-cycle AP experience
• Check run experience
• Ability to handle invoice volume
• Basic Excel proficiency (sorting, filtering, simple formulas)
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles and eagerness to learn
