Financial Analyst Responsibilities

Turn Data into Insight

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis for leadership
• Build out variance analysis and clearly explain the “why” behind the numbers
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and leadership
  
  

Own the Dashboards

• Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau that people actually use
• Create clean, intuitive visualizations that drive decision-making—not just reports that sit in a folder
• Deliver KPIs and performance metrics in a way that’s easy to understand and act on
  
  

Make Things Better

• Identify inefficiencies in current reporting and automate wherever possible
• Help enhance BI tools and reporting capabilities
• Partner with IT or data teams to improve data accuracy and accessibility
  
  

Financial Analyst Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or data-heavy finance roles
• Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Advanced Excel skills (you know your way around Power Query and large data sets)
• Experience working across multiple systems (ERP experience is a plus)
• Someone who is naturally curious and enjoys digging into the “why” behind the numbers
