Director of Accounting – Shared Services

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 Bonus

Location: San Antonio, TX (Relocation available)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the Shared Services Finance organization—centralizing AR, AP & Project Accounting.
• Standardize financial processes, policies, and controls to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee invoicing, cash application, collections, vendor payments, and compliance.
• Manage project accounting: job costing, WIP analysis, billing coordination, and profitability tracking.
• Drive automation via ERP/BI tools and ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness.
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing, customer-focused accounting team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 10 years in accounting/finance with 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience building or leading Shared Services organizations.
• Expertise in GAAP, project-based accounting, ERP/BI (Deltek or OneStream preferred), and advanced Excel.
• Strong leadership, process-improvement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
