What You Will Do
- Lead day‑to‑day IT operations across a multi‑site environment
- Own and advance the Application Development function
- Drive cloud migration efforts for the SIS and related enterprise platforms
- Modernize reporting, data governance, and system reliability
- Establish and enforce structured delivery frameworks, SLAs, and ticketing processes
- Assess team capabilities, mentor managers, and build high‑performing groups
- Ensure stability, security, and operational continuity across all enterprise systems
- Partner closely with the CIO on strategy, risk management, and cross‑departmental initiatives
- Maintain a strong on‑site leadership presence to support teams and stakeholders
- 10 years of technology leadership experience
- Strong background in application development and cloud/SaaS migrations
- Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) or ERP platforms
- (Ellucian, Banner, Colleague, Workday Student, PeopleSoft, Jenzabar, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and a disciplined operational leadership approach
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams across multiple locations
- Hands‑on, proactive leadership style with a sense of urgency and ownership
- Experience in higher education, healthcare, or multi‑site operations environments
- Exposure to AI/automation tools (including modern copilots)
- Salesforce or major cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- On-site in Boston, Monday through Friday
- Occasional travel to nearby satellite locations
- 12 month engagement with the potential to extend or convert to full-time
Salary : $90 - $120
