What You’ll Do
As Controller, you will oversee the full finance function while providing strategic insight and financial discipline across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process
- Oversee all accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage accurate and timely month-end and year-end close and reporting
- Own all areas of manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Partner with leadership to improve profitability, cost controls, and operational performance
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit/tax support
- Drive enhancements in ERP systems, reporting tools, and process improvement
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team as the company grows
- 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong background in manufacturing or inventory-based accounting
- Expertise in cost accounting, inventory controls, and operational finance
- Experience supporting leadership in a small to mid-sized, privately held company
- Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on in execution
- CPA and/or public accounting experience is a plus
