This role will support the financial operations of their commercial property portfolio through data analysis, financial reporting, and maintenance of accurate records. The Property Accountant will collaborate closely with internal teams and oversee outsourced accounting functions. Success in this position requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Key Responsibilities Of Property Accountant

• Analyze financial data and assist with preparing reports and statements
• Oversee outsourced teams handling payables, receivables, and reconciliations
• Support lease administration, billing, and expense reconciliations
• Perform journal entries, month-end close tasks, and maintain cost ledgers
• Assist in budgeting, planning, and audit preparation
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Set up new projects in accounting systems and support project onboarding
  
  

Key Qualifications Of Property Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects
