Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve on Executive Team; collaborate with Controller, COO, and CEO
  • Direct all accounting functions including operational, tax, real estate, purchasing, and long-range planning
  • Oversee payroll, accounts receivable/payable, retirement plans, investments, and general ledger
  • Support annual budget process and provide financial insights to leadership
  • Attend Board meetings and report on financial performance
  • Monitor payor mix to optimize financial outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with filing deadlines and maintain proper documentation
  • Assist with grant writing and reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience required, with a strong understanding of payor mix impact on financial performance
  • Non-profit experience a plus
  • Master’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of financial leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 years managing a team
  • Technology proficiency and the ability to learn new systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
