Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst
- Partner with department leaders to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Analyze financial performance, historical trends, and key performance indicators to support business decisions
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership
- Develop and maintain budgeting models, forecasting tools, and financial reporting templates
- Present financial insights and recommendations to leadership teams
- Support marketing and operational departments with financial analysis, invoice processing, and budget tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, reporting efficiency, and financial workflows
- Assist with project planning, system implementations, testing, and business process improvements
- Participate in special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required
- 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, FP&A, or business analysis
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Adaptive Planning required
- Experience with Power BI, Domo, or other business intelligence tools is a plus
- Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools, and relational databases
- Experience preparing executive-level reporting and financial presentations preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
