A growing construction company is seeking a Billing Specialist with strong AIA billing experience to join their accounting team. The Billing Specialist will play a critical role in managing project billings, ensuring accuracy, and supporting timely revenue recognition.

The ideal Billing Specialist understands the construction billing cycle, is highly detail-oriented, and has hands-on experience with AIA progress billings.

Responsibilities Of The Billing Specialist

• Prepare and process AIA progress billings (G702/G703 forms)
• Manage schedule of values and track project progress for accurate invoicing
• Work closely with project managers to gather billing details and approvals
• Submit owner billings and ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Track retainage, change orders, and lien waivers
• Reconcile billed amounts to the general ledger
• Follow up on outstanding payments in coordination with accounts receivable
• Maintain organized project billing documentation
  
  

Qualifications For The Billing Specialist

• 3 years of construction billing experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AIA billing (required)
• Knowledge of retainage, change orders, and progress billing processes
• Experience working with project managers and operations teams
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
