Key Responsibilities
- Process and oversee payroll utilizing accounting and payroll systems
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable
- Maintain the General Ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Complete month-end close activities in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records
- Ensure compliance with accounting deadlines and internal controls
- Prepare pension reporting
- Coordinate workers' compensation audit preparation
- Assist with pension and compliance audits
- Maintain organized supporting documentation for audits
- Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements
- Partner with HR and leadership on payroll and compliance matters
- Identify process improvements and support operational continuity
Required
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Payroll processing experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Paycor experience
- Healthcare industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
