Key Responsibilities of the Bilingual Payroll & HR Specialist
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for both staff and field employees
- Administer payroll through Sage 100 Contractor (or similar system)
- Reconcile timekeeping data and ensure accuracy across systems
- Support onboarding processes including new hire documentation, E-Verify, and background checks
- Manage payroll-related compliance including taxes, unemployment claims, and verifications
- Process employee deductions including 401(k) and HSA contributions
- Assist with certified payroll reporting (training provided)
- Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll and HR-related inquiries
- 2–3 years of payroll experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
- Experience working with payroll systems (Sage 100 Contractor or similar preferred)
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with employees daily
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a structured, onsite environment
