Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and support the month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze cost, variance, and margin reports to support operational decision-making.
- Develop and present timely and accurate financial statements and performance reports for plant and corporate leadership.
- Partner with operations and plant management to identify opportunities for cost improvement and process efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support inventory valuation, standard cost updates, and product margin analysis.
- Lead and mentor accounting team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in cost accounting, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
- Experience with fast-paced, quick close processes and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with a hands-on, plant-focused approach.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing accuracy with efficiency.
- Salary: $100,000–$130,000, based on experience.
