Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Newberg, OR - Fully onsite

Salary: $24-26/hour

About The Role

This Accounts Payable Specialist position is primarily focused on the accounts payable cycle for multiple entities, while also serving as the essential backup for accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is a reliable professional who enjoys being the go-to person for payables but is also comfortable stepping in to post cash or assist with customer account reconciliations.

Primary Duties

• Own full-cycle international accounts payable processing, including freight, customs, and duties.
• Act as the lead on trade vendor reconciliations, communicating directly with vendors and purchasing to resolve variances.
• Reconcile open items between companies to ensure accurate intercompany reporting.
• Serve as the primary backup for posting daily cash receipts and reconciling customer accounts.
• Support the credit representative with customer credit checks and statement reviews as needed.
• Export data from the ERP system to maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for management.
• Support accurate month-end reconciliations and assist with GL entries as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years of accounts payable experience
• Experience using ERP software and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with management, vendors, and customers.
• A proactive, grounded work ethic and strong organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple ledgers.
