Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to support cash application and core AR functions. This Accounts Receivable Specialist position is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to grow and gain hands-on experience. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely application of payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and efficiently
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Assist with bank reconciliations and daily cash activities
- Support month-end close processes
- Respond to payment-related inquiries in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Entry-level accounting experience or relevant coursework
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, IF functions)
- Ability to work independently in a mostly remote environment
