Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position Overview

The Accounts Receivable Clerk reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for delivering accurate and timely billing, payment processing, and account management support. This role ensures the integrity of financial data while providing strong administrative and customer service support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage daily sales reporting files
• Administer and update the billing system to ensure accuracy
• Import, review, and process tickets for invoicing
• Post customer payments, credits, and account adjustments
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
• Set up and manage new customer orders
• Maintain accurate and organized customer account records
• Update customer pricing as needed
• Generate manual invoices when required
• Support month-end close processes, including account reconciliations
• Respond to internal and external audit requests
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable
• Experience with integrated accounting or ERP systems preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Working knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance
